2019 Men’s Rec Results ~ Week 19 – September 16th
The format for our final two weeks is a 6-person scramble from the Gold Tees and you must use everyone’s drive at least once. Congratulations to Greg Bretzlaff, Don Rouble and Brian Yolkowskie who were our weekly draw winners.

2019 Men’s Rec Results ~ Week 17 & 18 – August 26th & September 2nd
Congratulations to Bobby Lavalee, Richard Landsbergen & Mike Butler who were our weekly draw winners in week 17. In week 18, our weekly draw winners were Ellwyn, Adam Hutlink & Bobby Lavalee again. Bobby should definitely buy a catch the ace in case his luck runs in 3’s.

2019 Men’s Rec Results ~ Week 15 & 16 – August 12th & 19th
For the past two weeks the mens rec league played a format of 2~3 man teams, 1 white, 1 gold//C flight 1 gold, 1 red, counting both scores.
Congratulations to Karl Erfle, Scott Clemow and Walker Eady who were the winners of $25 RGC bucks for August 12th. Our weekly draw winners for August 19th are Gord Eady, Curtis Sheperd and Bobby Lavalee.

2019 Men’s Rec Results ~ Week 13 & 14 – August 5th
It was the final week for the format of 3 – 2 man teams, one of which playing from the white, one from the gold and one from the red. Scores were calculated using the Stableford Point system of the two best scores per hole.

The men started a new format this week, 3 – 2 man teams, one of which played from the white, one from the gold and one from the red. The best 2 scores were counted. Points were calculated using the Stableford Point system.

2019 Men’s Rec Results ~ Week 7 & 8 – June 24th
Another beautiful night on the golf course this week. This was the last week of the two 3 person team, one from the white and one from the gold format.
In A Flight, Schwartz Drywall takes the win shooting a 67 this week to give them a total score of 128. Not far behind is Team Corona with a combined two week score of 130.
In B Flight, The Wolfblacks take the lead with a total score of 131. Two strokes behind is The Bogey Bunch with a score of 133. Finishing with a score of 136 in B Flight to take third place is Team Pontiac.
In C Flight, The Caddyshackers played a good game tonight, with a score of 68 to give an overall score of 139, putting them in first place. A couple strokes back are The Heritage Hackers with a two week total of 141 strokes to put them in second place.

2019 Men’s Rec Results ~ Week 7 – June 17th
It was a nice night out on the golf course this week for our Men’s Rec League. The format for week 7 was two 3 person teams, one from the white and one from the gold.
In A Flight, Schwartz Drywall will take first place, shooting a 61. The Walking Dead following in second place shooting a 64.
In B Flight, The Wolfblacks take the lead with a score of 67. Following close behind with a score of 68 is Team Pontiac. There is a tie for third in B Flight between The Zohr Family and the Bogey Bunch, both shooting a 69.
In C Flight, The Heritage Hackers take on first with a score of 69. Tied for second, with a score of 71, are the Caddyshackers and The Swatters.

2019 Men’s Rec Results ~ Week 5 & 6 – June 3rd & 10th
Once again, the weather was not ideal for our Men’s Rec League but the teams toughed out the conditions for this sessions format of 3 2-man team scrambles.
In A Flight, Team Corona had a big week 6 to narrowly beat Schwartz Drywall by a single point with a 2-week total of 116 points. Yemen Electric was a close 3rd but missed out on the prizes by 2 points. Zohr Family and Pontiac finished 5th and 6th and will drop to B Flight for next week.
In B Flight, the Bushwackers were able to hold off The Walking Dead to win by 4 points with a two-week total of 104 points. The Caddyshackers and Heritage Hackers will drop down to C Flight.
In C Flight, the Wolfblacks struggled in week 6 compared to week 5 but their lead was big enough to hold on to first place over the Bogey Bunch.

2019 Men’s Rec Results ~ Week 5 – June 3rd
The guys were lucky that the rain stopped in the afternoon so conditions were okay for the Rec League and the rain softened the course up nicely for good scoring conditions. This week the new format was 3 2-man teams playing a scramble with stableford scoring. An extra caveat was that one team played from the Red tees, one from the Gold tees and one from the White tees.
In A Flight, Schwartz Drywall is once again leading the way, as their 58 point total gives them a 3 point lead over Yemen Electric and 5 points over Team Corona.
The Bushwackers dropped down to B Flight and appear eager to get back up to the A Flight as they earned 52 points for a 5 point advantage over Deslaurier and The Walking Dead.
In C Flight, The Wolfblacks were the class of the field, tying the best score of the day at 58 points for a commanding lead over The Bogey Bunch and Swatters, 46 and 40 points respectively.

2019 Men’s Rec Results ~ Week 3 & 4 – May 20th & 27th
The players in our Men’s Rec League finally had a week of good weather tonight, although with the wind fairly calm, the bugs were out today.
In A Flight this week, Zohr Family shot the best score of week 2 but in the battle for 1st place, came up 3 shots shy of Schwartz Drywall’s two week total of 132. The Bushwackers and The Walking Dead equally struggled with scores of 141 and will drop down to B Flight next week.
In B Flight, Rowat Insurance shot the best two week total of 131 to narrowly beat Team Corona by a single shot. Both teams win prizes though and move up to A Flight next week. The Wolfblacks and The Bogey Bunch finished in 5th and 6th respectively and will drop to C Flight next week.
In C Flight, The Caddyshackers beat Yolkowskie by 3 shot to secure 1st place in their flight. Both teams will move up to B Flight next week.

2019 Men’s Rec Results ~ Week 3 – May 20th
The weather was cooler than expected this week and as a result, the scores were a higher than normal. This week’s format is 2 3-man teams from the Gold tees where both scores count.
In A Flight Schwartz Drywall leads Yemen Electric and the Bushwackers by 3 shots after one week of the rotation.
In B flight, Team Corona and Deslaurier Cabinets are tied atop the standings, 1 shot ahead of Rowat Insurance.
In C Flight, only Yolkowskie scored in the 60’s to take 4 shot lead over Caddyshackers.

2019 Men’s Rec Results ~ Week 1 & 2 – May 6th & 13th
The format for our opening two weeks of the 2019 Men’s Rec League was a 6-man scramble from the Gold Tees requiring each player’s drive to be used at least once. Based on the scores posted in week one of the Rec Leagues, you would not know think that the season got off to a late start as the scores were pretty good across the board.
In A Flight, Schwartz Drywall narrowly defeated The Walking Dead by a single shot over the two rounds with the teams shooting 59 and 60, respectively. The Wolfblacks and Rowat Insurance drop down to B Flight for next week.
In B Flight, there was a 3 way tie atop the leaderboard so Larry had to do some extra calculations to determine which teams would win the prizes and also move up to A Flight. By retrogression, the Bushwackers finished in first place with Yemen Electric in second place. Team Yolkowskie and the Swatters will drop down to the C Flight next week.
In C Flight, one of our teams returning to the league got off to a fast start to finish atop their flight by 3 strokes, shooting 62. The Bogey Bunch, a new team to the league this season, will also be moving up to B flight next week.

The 2019 Men’s Rec League opened up to some mixed weather from mother nature. The afternoon started off fine but after a brief 15 minute rain, the temperature dropped for the guys who teed off later. The weather didn’t affect the scores too much though as the standings are close in all three divisions.
In the A Division, Schwartz Drywall shot 29 for 2 stroke lead over 4 teams, The Walking Dead, Rowat Insurance, Pontiac and the Wolfblacks.
In B Division, only 3 shots separates all 6 teams with the Bushwackers in first place with a score of 30, followed by Team Corona, Deslaurier’s Cabinets and Yolkowskie 1 shot behind.
In the C Division, there is one returning team and two new teams. The Heritage Hackers got their season off to a good start firing a 30 with RPG and Scott Clemow’s team tied at 34. Our first draw contest winners of 25 RGC Bucks are Jeff Menkhorst, Mike Deslaurier and Jim Senack.
